Bittersweet Bakery is owned and operated by Kristen Ward.
From Childhood.
As a child, Kristen was always supported in exploring her senses in the kitchen. Whether it was homework at the table while the aroma of dinner cooking embraced her, or it was kneading the “scraps” of bread dough with her grandmother, or being one of her mom’s greatest taste testers, she was always welcome.

To Hobby.
The encouragement she received in those formative years, turned into the confidence she needed to start exploring new recipes, and mastering old ones, over the years.

To Livelihood.
That passion to create, has turned into a passion to share. And with that, she began exploring ways to offer her treats to family, friends and the community. As a result, she's embarked on this wholesome adventure of opening a small-scale home bakery to continue to share her creations.
Tabling at the local Christmas Bazaar, we offered an assortment of cookies, caramels and pastries.
